For our beginner program, tennis 101, we use modified equipment to help you learn proper technique while you begin to rally. If you are returning to the sport, or if you have graduated from tennis 101, our tennis 201 program is the right fit. Tennis 201 uses green dot balls as well as the standard yellow balls to work on point-play strategies for singles and doubles.

Eptc offers four indoor hard courts under a state-of-the-art facility. Play is available year round at a comfortable 70 degrees. The liberty indoor tennis center, the new indoor home of liberty university’s men’s and women’s tennis teams, officially opened on tuesday with a dedication ceremony. Speakers included liberty director of athletics ian mccaw, men’s tennis head coach derek schwandt, women’s tennis head coach jeff maren, and lynchburg regional business alliance ceo & chief economic development officer megan lucas.
Audra anderson was the head women’s tennis coach at siu for 10 years and the head men’s tennis coach for their final season. Anderson has been teaching tennis to all ages and levels for 21 years. At the collegiate level she has trained ncaa nationally-ranked singles and doubles players as well as multiple conference champions and the ita national naia champion. In her years as a collegiate coach, she has compiled an overall record of 311-137. As a collegiate tennis player, she was recognized as the gpac conference player of the year.

Drills are exclusively feed-in games and drills with constant rotations that allow you to hit against all participants. Games and drills will focus on each stroke, but there will always be a large variety of games and drills with constant movement and fun.
