Lev yashin is one of the most important footballers of all time, as he basically invented goalkeeping. A leader, an innovator, and a 'spider' (which is a compliment - swear), the greatest testament to yashin's talent is the fact that he is the only goalkeeper to ever win the ballon d'or. Ever.
Jeff sheets is the man behind a lot of important designs and breakthroughs in the golf industry, and he still calls the ’99 apex one of his all-time favorite designs. Com “… i was ready to pursue this project only after doing much homework, studying every hogan design i could find and by interviewing past hogan company employees. In my research of studying mr. Hogan’s design characteristics, i ended up creating the infamous hogan iron chart using a 1-megapixel digital camera and black fabric backdrop as i photographed every iron on my credenza “photo studioâ€. I had two big assets available to me in the execution of the new hogan apex irons. The first was my cad operator charles lovett who had a keen eye for blades after he had been hired away from mizuno. The second was my prototyping contractor tom stites, an ex-hogan r&d staffer who would convert our cad files to hittable specimens. The ’99 apex is the epitome of a hogan forged iron design. It was the first hogan iron to be forged by endo manufacturing in japan. Stite’s group, impact engineering, did such a fine job on the final prototypes that we were able to laser scan them for creating the forging dies. â€.

July 22, 2009 at 12:00 pm no. 10 ' al geiberger, first round 1977 memphis classic geiberger became the first player in pga tour history to break 60, doing so in the first round of the then danny thomas memphis classic, june 10, 1977. Geiberger's score was all-the-more extraordinary considering it came on one of the tour's toughest courses and in 102-degree heat. He went on to win the event by three strokes.

So with that said, to help curate your movie experience, we left the clubs in the trunk for a few days and spent some quality couch time with murray, sandler, dangerfield, and costner in an effort to select the top 10 golf movies of all time. While the film did poorly at the box office, junuh (matt damon) is a strong enough character to earn a prominent spot on this list.
